Organic Chemistry Teaching Innovation Grant

Prof. Stanislav Presolski was recently awarded a Teaching Innovation Grant to help students better understand molecular structures. While most chemists use molecular simulation software to model electron orbitals, these two dimensional representations of 3D objects can make constraints on molecules shapes difficult to understand. Prof. Presolski used the Teaching Innovation Grant to purchase a 3D printer, which allowed him to create more complex tangible models for his course on organic chemistry.
